HIRING TO RESUME: Hiring to Resume [#MazdaToyota #MazdaToyotaManufacturing]

Mazda Toyota Manufacturing will open the second phase of hiring soon for its joint-venture automotive plant in Limestone County, Ala. adding about 3,000 new employees.

Mazda Toyota Manufacturing will begin accepting applications Dec. 7 for full-time, direct-hire jobs starting at $17 an hour with growth potential to $23 an hour plus shift premium.

All production jobs get benefits from the first day of employment including paid time off, vehicle discounts and medical/dental/vision insurance.

Mazda Toyota Manufacturing also matches 6% of employee contributions to a 401K.

Mazda Toyota Manufacturing has set a 3:30 p.m. Facebook event Thursday open to the public to provide more details.

Speakers include production leaders and employment specialists.

The joint company is expected to have 4,000 employees once it reaches full production at the 3.7 million-square-foot facility.

Those workers will make 300,000 Mazda and Toyota vehicles a year at the facility.
